what a rainy day...

cos of the shit emergency practice thing along the north east line and some other places in singapore today, i was late for 10am mass. so gerri had to wait for me and we went for 11.30am mass instead. the rain made things worse. i had to squish and squash around in my wet slippers. yuck. and it was rain water. disgusting.

then we had lunch at macs. yuck macs. with jerome and gerri.

then daph met us and we had time to kill. so we popped by ezyvideo and rented a vcd and hopped over to gerri's place to chill. yum oreo cheese cake. oh we rented 'the longest yard'. its freaking funny. i couldn't stop laughing. gerri laughed till she cried. hah. silly show. but good. very good.

i went home to crap again. i hate it when my brother relies on me for help with school work. like leave me alone and do the shit yourself! yea, there was more shit than just that. i hate being home. hmm...

so much for a sunday. and i told God that i loved Him.

this year has been interesting...

i know its only been a week, but i've learnt a lot about myself.

im... different.

i cant seem to control myself during shopping trips. i feel like i want everything. its terrible.

i was sick and i still am. and im not doing anything about it.

i love God. i still do.

i was lazy, and this year im lazier.

i love to sleep yet i like to stay up. im weird.

im happy. sometimes. not so often anymore. i'll be happier.

i went for Ben & Jerry's today, together with yien and mari. lovely. i had phish food, dublin mudslide and cherry garcia!!! yum yum. really good stuff.


then after ice-cream, we went to walk around. we popped by novo, this shoe shop. they were having a sale and this lovely pair of shoes that i really liked was 1 for 1! whee... so that means, i'll either share it with yien, or... get 2 new pairs of shoes!!! argh... this shoe penchant is getting into me! and having a shoe fanatic, like yien, shopping with me doesnt make it better...

actually, i think im spending too much. really. yet, i feel so good after buying stuff. its like im... obsessed! oh perhaps im suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder... hmm... but thats for weird people. but wait... im weird. hmm...

and by the way. peters not doing too good, so he likes to do things that will cheer him up. so yea... all the weird stuff thats been appearing these few days about me missing him... in white words... yea... just put up with it ok. i mean... after all, hes just peter.

i cut my hair today. its... different.

i had to do my social psychology assignment today. we were suppose to break the social norm and do something unconventional. then after our activity, we had to report on the peoples reactions. it was interesting. really. just the look of the peoples faces. really funny.

we tried walking around taka basement under an umbrella. it was really stupid. but it was funny. sadly, we didnt have a lot of reactions.

we tried another activity. walking backwards along the streets. that one, we had more reactions. people started giving us weird looks. and this bunch of irritating people came up to us and tried to sell us some 'charity' thing. like stop trying to cheat me! so since they wanted so much to talk to us, we asked them more stuff like why they want to 'volunteer' and how much they earned from it and all... and they refused to give us proper answers. obviously they were bloughing that 100% goes to charity. like real. yea... then we decided to stop walking backwards when the conversation with the irritating 'volunteers' ended. and we completed our assignments. cool.

so much for a day. i had fun. whee...

today i went shopping with jaime!

we went to wisma atria to comb some shops... we stopped by future state cos i wanted to find a pretty top to match my new jeans.

well actually, i came out to get some clothes to wear for chinese new year cos my momma was bugging me to get an outfit soon. and knowing that my workload was piling up, i decided to just get all this shopping done with.

so future state wasn't good. the top was pretty, i just looked weird in it. maybe it was the cutting of the outfit. so we walked on...

went to ngee ann city, takashimaya. stopped by guess. it had interesting stuff, as in really colourful, but you'll never wanna be caught in it kinda clothes. plus the price wasn't that forgiving either and they still called it a 'sale'. hmm...

out of guess, and into mango... better stuff, but not stuff we'd usually wear to school or anywhere... i mean the stuff were like winter jackets and erm... winter jackets and more winter jackets. no way...

we then walked on to the heeren and stopped by 37degrees. i was quite reluctant cos i thought the stuff there were 'lousy'... but not the dresses! we went crazy and started picking out dresses to try. being crazy, i picked out a halter dress. it was like white from far, but if you look closer, there are pink checks on it, really small checks, in baby pink. yes i know its so un-me. but it was a way hip retro dress. jaime loves it. i think i like it too. it costs $39.90 and i bought it anyway. hmm... i wonder why.

then we walked up to the annex. walked past this shop with pretty belts and wow! i found this belt that i've been hoping to get for the longest time. but i didnt want to get it cos it was like $40. but, in that shop, it was only $19.90! it was this really unique colour, a little between green and brown, my favourite clothing colour for now. lovely. it had golden studs... erm not really studs... like those holes... erm... yeah holes... hmm... just tell me to wear it out if you wanna see it. yeah it was lovely!

then it was shoe shopping! pretty shoes!!! cos jaime was my 'secret santa' for this class thing we had, she bought me a pair of purple shoes! sadly, they were too small and we had to change it. and it the horrid shop didn't have any more sizes for giant feeters like me. the pair jaime bought was the largest. and they had to make things worse by not allowing us to change designs. so jaime, being such a darling, bought me another pair of shoes! and changed the previous pair, that was meant for me, for herself. and it was difficult trying to decide. too many shoes. way too many shoes. after forever, i decided on a pair of brown shoes with a metallic rose colour ribbon like design infront. lovely. jaime like it. i think i like it too. thanks for shoes jaime.

well i wanted to shop more! so i suggested OG. haha... yeah its such an unglam place to shop at, but hey, there were really good stuff there! i finally found a pretty top to go with my new mango jeans i bought last week. its purple satin spag strapped, crossed back top, with beaded designs across the waist, and it flairs out from the waist. lovely. then i found a green shirt that costs only $8.50! wow. then we combed OG somemore. walked into hemisphere, this place by a local designer inside OG. cool stuff. cos jaime and i found the 'sale' section in hemisphere and the tops were like $10 and $15... cool way cool. jaime found a skirt that was only $10 and it had purple and circles and polka dots all over. spells phoebe and jaime! haha. i found a beige top with really pretty flair sleeves for $10! and another white halter top with pretty little colourful dots in the middle for only $15! jaime liked the tops. i think i like them too. whee... so altogether at OG, i spent about $60 for 4 tops! like whoa, thats the best deal ever!

come to think of it, i think i was shopping for jaime. hmm... no. i was shopping with jaime's taste. interesting... i had fun. thanks jaime! :)
