the best thing about CNY:

1. bak kwa
2. pineapple tarts
3. ang pow

i only look forward to these 3. its the only time of the year you get to have these in large quantities. bak kwa is still the number one joy for me for CNY. and no one can ever beat my family's secret pineapple tart recipe. i tell you - no one! as for ang pow. the more the merrier! but its ranked number 3 cos i dont get to keep the money. sigh, mom 'saves them up for university'. sigh.
